5 Day Exmouth < > Perth (via the Coast)

Travel the picturesque west coast, snorkel Ningaloo Reef, photograph the famous Monkey Mia dolphins and explore the mysterious formations of the Pinnacles desert.

TOUR CODE: XP5 HIGHLIGHTS :: PINNACLES :: KALBARRI NATIONAL PARK :: MONKEY MIA :: CORAL BAY :: NINGALOO REEF :: TURQUOISE BAY :: YARDIE CREEK :: EXMOUTH ITINERARY DAY 1 :: EXMOUTH TO CORAL BAY We begin the day with a short hike into Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Then its time to have a swim, snorkel or sunbathe at beautiful Turquoise Bay and explore the Ningaloo Reef. Admire the view from historic Vlahming Head Lighthouse. In the afternoon we travel to Coral Bay. (LD) DAY 2 :: CORAL BAY Spend the entire day snorkelling the famous Ningaloo Reef accessible from Coral Bay’s white sandy beach. Alternatively, you can choose one of the many optional activities including quad biking, coral viewing cruises and scuba diving. (BLD) DAY 3 :: CORAL BAY TO SHARK BAY Heading south we cross the Tropic of Capricorn and pass through the banana growing town of Carnarvon. We call in at unique Shell Beach before continuing on towards Monkey Mia – famous for the wild dolphins that visit the beach daily. (BLD)

DAY 4 :: SHARK BAY TO KALBARRI There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities this morning as we visit with the Monkey Mia dolphins. We then explore some of the Shark Bay World Heritage area with a stop at Hamelin Pool to check out the stromatolites – the oldest living organisms in the world – before heading south to Kalbarri. Time permitting we will be able to view the Murchison Gorge and Nature’s Window this afternoon before arriving in this seaside resort town. (BLD) DAY 5 :: KALBARRI TO PERTH Departing via the coastal gorges of the Kalbarri National Park, we head to the picturesque seaside town of Dongara and on to the fascinating landscape of the Nambung National Park. Here we explore the mystical formations of the Pinnacles Desert before travelling on to Perth. (BL) BRING Sturdy walking shoes (ankle high), hat & sunscreen, towel & toiletries, swimming gear, warm clothing in winter, water bottle, torch, insect repellent, camera & film, pillow. INCLUDED Experienced guide, meals as indicated, dorm accommodation (or upgrade to backpacker double/single), select accommodation pick ups, national park fees. NOTE Tour is operated as a codeshare with Western Xposure. Upgrade accommodation is limited and subject to availability at time of booking.
