What to expect

Expect a mix of guided walks and coach time. You'll spend mornings exploring Kalbarri's rock formations on foot—some paths involve minor scrambling and uneven terrain. Afternoons bring scenic drives through Margaret River's vineyards and forest, culminating in a stroll along the Busselton Jetty (you can walk the full 1.8 km or catch the train). Pink Lake's colour is genuine but unpredictable; it shifts throughout the year depending on algae bloom, temperature and angle of sun. One overnight stay in a basic motel room (double bed plus single). Bring your own packed meals for days you're not provided lunch. The itinerary may shift for weather.

Pack a carry-on only; large suitcases must stay at your Perth hotel. Wear proper walking shoes, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses.
