What to expect
You'll meet Haydn at the estate and head straight into the vineyard. Expect to walk between the rows, stopping to examine grape varieties and discuss the decisions that go into managing the plants—things like pruning, irrigation, and harvest timing. The conversation stays grounded in what you're seeing. After 45 minutes or so in the vines, you'll move to the winery building itself for a behind-the-scenes look at the production process, then settle into the barrel hall for the tasting portion. The pace is relaxed and Haydn answers questions as they come up.
