What to expect
You'll board at Fremantle and sail west across open water to reach Rottnest's quieter anchorages. Once there, the boat becomes your base—lower in snorkelling gear to explore reefs, grab a kayak or paddleboard, or stretch out on the spacious bow. Lunch and hot drinks appear midday. The return sail gives you the option to help trim sails or simply watch the crew work. Expect some swell and wind; the experience centres entirely on water, not the island itself. You'll need basic swimming ability and comfort moving between deck levels.
Good to know

Pregnant guests beyond 36 weeks cannot board; those 28–36 weeks need medical clearance. Infants must sit on a lap. Moderate fitness and mobility required to climb stairs and a ladder safely.
