What to expect

You'll travel to the Pinnacles Desert with a driver who works around your pace. Once there, you control how long you explore the otherworldly landscape of pale limestone spikes scattered across rust-coloured sand. The Desert Discovery Centre provides insight into the formations' geological story and the area's Indigenous significance. If time allows, your driver can suggest detours—perhaps a dune experience or national park—but nothing is mandatory. Lunch happens wherever you fancy in the vicinity. The drive itself takes 1.5–2 hours each way, so plan accordingly if you want maximum time among the pinnacles.

Not all optional stops fit a single day; discuss priorities with the operator beforehand. Lunch isn't catered but plenty of choices exist nearby. Specialised infant seats available.
