What to expect

You'll meet at Hillarys Boat Harbour for your early ferry crossing to Rottnest. After briefing and gear fitting at the drop zone, you'll board the jump aircraft and ascend to 10,000 feet. The exit itself is brief; then you're in genuine freefall for just over a minute, wind roaring, the island sprawling below. Your instructor deploys the parachute and you'll have five quiet minutes under canopy to absorb the view before touching down on sand. The whole experience from ferry to beach landing takes a full day, but the actual jump time is surprisingly compact.

Good to know

Weight limit is 95 kg; those up to 110 kg need pre-approval. Minimum age 16 (under-18s need a guardian present). Skydiving is weather-dependent—call 1300 449 669 option 1 at least an hour before your ferry to confirm conditions.
